I'm going to be having surgery on the 31st, and have no idea how long I'll be out for the count. Besides complaining about the amount of pain I'll be in (I've heard everything from "there's no pain at all!" to "OMFG YOU'RE GOING TO BE IN PAIN 5EVA! DON'T DO EEEEEEET!!!"), any suggestions about TV shows and such to watch on Crunchyroll/Netflix?

Ehn, on crunchy I dunno; I haven't hit them up for eye candy in a while. Netflix I mostly do for movies or really short series. You could try Darknet, though - that's a short one I found last year that wasn't bad. What all are you in the market for, anyway?

Yes, tell us. Most of my internet viewing is Markiplier because I am complete trash, but as far as Netflix goes, I watch a lot of Star Trek.

Basically, anything that isn't going to require too much brain output. If things are going to be as bad as they say it is, I have a feeling there may be copious amounts of pain killers taken. Only request is that it's nothing too dramatic/horror like.

Okay, then you definitely don't want Darknet =p Sorry, most of my netflixing specializes in the suspense/thriller/horrors and hauntings areas.
If you're in the mood for anime, though, and you can find the dubbed version of Soul Eater (Funimation may have it on their youtube channel last I recall?? I know that's where I watched the sub the first time), I'd recommend that series. It's a good mix of serious business and absolutely ridiculous goings-on. Not too much feels-tweaking, unless you get attached to characters. Your eyeballs may roll into orbit once or twice, and considering this proposed massive amount of drugs you're about to be on...you'll probably enjoy some of the visuals as well, idk.
I should go look through some of the things I've been watching, actually. I know in among the creepy shit and foreign shows there has to be SOMETHING.

Let's Plays on Youtube are fucking hilarious when you're on large amounts of painkillers, just fyi. Last time I had surgery I spent most of my vicodin time watching Prop Hunt videos and almost laughed myself sick. Which was probably not the BEST thing to do just on account of it was a surgery that took place in my lower abdominal regions and large amounts of laughter hurt. But it was worth it, imo. WORTH IT.
Braindamage edit: What kind of surgery?

omg YES, seconding Andi on the LP thing. If you really want to endanger your recovery, check out the Game Grumps' LP of Spore.
..I still wake up snickering with visions of their dick creature hobbling along on its balls.

YES Spore and also they play Sonic '06 and watching them lose their shit is amazing when they realize just how fucking bad it is in the first five minutes. ALSO check out Danaru (that's the channel name), as it's a pair of folks, Dan and Grace, and their Sonic '06 LP is almost like watching an episode of MST and it's fucking -magical-.

What is it with Sanic '06 people love to hate so much? XD
Half the charm of the Grumps is that Arin straight up can't play games tho, I agree with some people on that. It's my roomie who's the 'tuber fanatic in the house, so I've had way too much exposure to them since October...

To be polite...it's surgery on the south end. I've heard the horror stories of pain for MONTHS.
And I've seen a couple of Let's Play My Ways that are pretty good. (Dude, forgot about MST3k. Pretty much every episode from every season's up on the YuToobs. I can only imagine how hilarious those will be on Vicodin.)

Critical Role! It's on Youtube. I love it. :< It's voice actors playing Dungeons and Dragons? (might be entertaining to you if you like that sort of thing!)

I have two words re: MST3K episodes. The best one I ever saw was called Space Mutiny. It's hands down one of the worst acted movies I've ever seen and if you have never watched it my -god- you are going to die of laughter. Especially on Vicodin.

C': I remember an MST3K birthday party slumber sleepover and when that came on it was amazing. Horrifyingly bad. I love it.
